Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix's athletic talent was apparent from the time she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. The school placed second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after her first trial. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to take classes in elementary school. The first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by taking 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters of all time at the Helsinki World Championships. She retained her title in 2007, beating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three in her various events in the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
